今天的朋友圈里，有一件怪事。
很多人都说，”我遇到了女巫、法师、小精灵，还有各种奇怪装扮的人！“
这一切都在告诉你：万圣节到啦！万圣节是西方的三大节日之一，这几年在国内越来越流行。
但是，你知道外国人怎么过万圣节吗？他们会打扮成什么样子？今天，VIPKID北美外教们就告诉大家：
什么样的万圣节，让我至今难忘？
先从这个炫酷的“暴风兵”开始吧！
“对于我，今年十分特殊。
之前，我一直想穿暴风兵的衣服，但是我之前有点胖，穿不进去……
一年半之前，我做了一个胃部的手术，减掉了130磅（大约59公斤）。
所以，我今年万圣节，终于能穿上暴风兵衣服了。上一次能穿万圣节戏服时，我还是个孩子……
这张照片里，我跟小儿子都穿了暴风兵衣服，他特别兴奋！”
下面是Teacher Daniel的英文原文：
This year is a very special year for me.
I have always wanted a Stormtrooper costume, but my size in the past was way too large to look good in a costume.
A year and a half ago I had Gastric Bypass surgery and I have lost 130 pounds!
So for the first time since I was a teenager I get to wear a costume! I get to dress up with my youngest son!
He is so excited for daddy to wear a costume with him!
“我最难忘的万圣节，是去年跟儿子过的第一个万圣节。
十年来，我和我丈夫，一直都想要个宝宝，但是一直没成功。最后，我们领养了一个刚出生半年的宝宝。
我们接他回家的那天，正好在万圣节前夜。所以，我们高高兴兴地给他选择最完美的万圣节服装。
我们想给儿子一些与众不同的戏服，最后在网上订了一套“花园小矮人”的衣服，他穿起来好可爱！
因为他当时只有六个月大，所以不能跟邻居一起玩万圣节的经典游戏，"不给糖就捣蛋”。于是，我们把他带到当地的动物园，在万圣节这一天，这里会有很多跟小动物们互动的活动。
他特别喜欢那里，因为每当孩子们经过我儿子，就会指着他的衣服大叫，“看那个小精灵”、“快看，圣诞老人的小精灵”。孩子们以为我儿子一定认识圣诞老人，哈哈哈。
我们一家三口，一起看小动物、跟小动物们玩儿，还骑了旋转木马，坐了小火车，一起度过了快乐的万圣节！”

My favorite Halloween memory was my son's first Halloween.
It was Halloween 2016. My husband and I had been trying for almost ten years to conceive, but we were unsuccessful. We were able to adopt my son at birth.
His adoption was finalized right before Halloween. We had so much fun picking out what we thought was the perfect costume for him.
We wanted something different that not a lot of children would be wearing, so we ordered this garden gnome costume off of the internet. He was so cute in it, and he loved wearing it.
He was only six months old, so he couldn’t really do a lot of the Halloween activities in our area, like Trick or Treating in the neighborhood or Trunk or Treat at the local churches. We took him to an event at our local zoo called "Boo at the Zoo."
He loved it! It was funny, because all of the children that would pass us would point to his costume and say, "Look an elf!" or "Look, Santa's elf!" They really thought he knew Santa, haha!
The parents got the costume, but none of the other children did.
We had so much fun as a little family of three seeing and playing with the animals, riding the carousel and train, and making fun Halloween memories.
“我本来不打算在万圣节穿戏服，但是最终女儿Panda说服了我。
当然，Panda早已准备好了她自己的魔法棒和南瓜灯。我决定打扮成蝙蝠侠里面的谜语人。
我们决定今晚的主题是“蜘蛛网上的派对”，而且，我们还要给我们的小客人南瓜糖和粟米糖。不给糖就捣蛋！
我结婚后第一年的装扮，是我最喜欢的。
我打扮成了一条路，而我的丈夫则是一个路障。我全身上下都穿着黑色，然后用黄色的胶带做了两条道路线。
我还在衣服前面放了几个玩具车，背后也是道路的形状。我的丈夫穿了一件橙色水管造型的戏服，头上还顶了一个闪烁的橙色灯。
还有很多万圣节装扮，我也很喜欢。有一年，我扮成了一个火腿三明治，还有一年，我扮成了一块草坪，上面还有一只粉色的火烈鸟，我还扮成过洒水车等等。
你问我怎么扮成火腿三明治？我把沙发垫当作三明治里的面包片，然后再加上硬纸板，作为火腿和芝士。我穿上一身红色的衣服，因为我就是三明治里的西红柿！”

I originally wasn't going to, but Panda convinced me to decorate for Halloween and wear a costume.
Panda, of course, had her witch hat and her jack-o-lantern already. I decided to go as The Riddler from Batman.
We decided for a spiderweb theme for our decor and gave candy pumpkins and candy corn to our student visitors. Trick or treat!
My favorite costume memory was in my first year of marriage.
I was a road and my husband was a construction cone. I wore all black and used yellow electrical tape to make the double yellow lines. I attached small toy cars to the front of the costume. The back had lines, too. My husband wore an orange tube with a flashing orange light on his head.
Other favorite costumes from years past include the year that I was a ham sandwich, and the year I was the front lawn with a pink flamingo, a sprinkler, and all.
I used sofa cushions for the bread in the ham sandwich and added cardboard ham and cheese. I was dressed in red because I was the tomato in the sandwich!
“万圣节快乐！万圣节是一年中特殊的日子。
我还是个小女孩的时候，没有机会在这一天盛装打扮。
所以，我当了妈妈之后，我向我的女儿承诺，每一年的万圣节，我们都要装扮起来，装成各种各样的人物。
我的女儿喜欢公主装，同时想变成超人！

Happy Halloween! Halloween is a special time of year.
As a little girl, I did not get a chance to dress up for Halloween.
As a Mom, I made a promise to my daughter that every year for Halloween we will dress alike and have matching Halloween costumes.
My daughter loves being a princess and she also love superheroes too!
